Holiday music, plays and other forms of entertainment aren’t just for adults. This weekend presents several kid-friendly options:
The enchantment of “A Child’s Christmas in Wales” takes the stage at 7:30 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays, tonight through Dec. 20 at Whidbey Island Center for the Arts, 565 Camano Ave., Langley. Tickets are $12.

Families also can cover some holiday ground from 8 a.m. to noon Saturday with a Santa breakfast at the Mountlake Terrace High School hub, 21801 44th Ave. W. It’s Gingerbread Village time Saturday and Sunday at Imagine Children’s Museum, 1502 Wall St., Everett, where included with the $7.50 admission for those over age 1, visitors can make “bricks” to add to the museum’s community gingerbread house.
