Ogle gorgeous gardens: If you like growing green things, you’ll be happy this weekend. You have several options for garden tours.

• Snohomish County Master Gardeners Tours: 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday. Find out more about the tour here.
• Gardens of Merit: 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, starting at Evergreen Arboretum & Gardens at Legion Park. Read our story about it here.
• Camano Island Backyard Wildlife Habitat Garden Tour: Free. 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, starting at Camano Multipurpose Center, 141 East Camano Drive. Read our story here.
• Whidbey Island Garden Tour: 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday at four private gardens. Learn more, including how to get tickets, here.

Take in some art: Like with gardens, this weekend is bursting with art, and all of these events are free. Here are three options:
• Art in the Barn is 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday at 20412 Highway 530, Arlington. You’ll find fine arts and crafts for sale. You can find our story about it here.
• The LiveArts Bothell Festival is 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday and 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday in Bothell. You’ll find artist booths and family activities. Find more information here.
• The Shoreline Arts Festival is 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday in Shoreline. You’ll find music, stage shows, juried art shows and arts projects for kids. Learn more here.

Get out on the water: If you’ve always wanted to try kiteboarding or stand-up paddleboarding, this weekend is your chance. Jetty Jam on Jetty Island on Saturday features competitive races, free demonstrations and clinics, food and music at Lombardi’s restaurant. Laugh: “The Historic,” a mockumentary done in the style of “The Office,” tells the story of a group of teenagers working at the Historic Everett Theatre. The storyline has the downtown Everett theater on the brink of being sold when a former worker-turned-famous Hollywood filmmaker wants to premiere his new flick there. The teens try to keep it open. Take a bike ride: Mukilteo’s community ride is on Sunday. There is a family-friendly 8-mile route and more challenging 28- and 40-mile loops. Read the details in our story here.

Admire shiny cars: Mukilteo’s car show, featuring restored classics and modern rides, is Sunday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at 10719 Bernie Webber Drive, Mukilteo. In addition to a lot of chrome and gleaming paint, there will also be music, contests, trophies, raffles and food. The event is held at the Historic Flight Foundation, so you can also admire aircraft from 1927 to 1957.

Celebrate the arrival of summer: The Skandia Midsommarfest is 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday in Kenmore. The festival includes music, dance, kids’ activities, dance lessons and a pole-raising ceremony. It’s free. Find out more about it here.
