“Ain’t Misbehavin’ ” is a stompin’, struttin’, high hattin’ smash direct from Broadway.
The show, which won a Tony Award for best musical, will knock your ears off and then come back for the rest of you.
“Ain’t Misbehavin’ ” has 30 musical numbers. The show takes audiences through the Fats Waller Songbook and Harlem in its heyday. The cast, most of whom have lengthy Broadway careers, will perform the show in one 90-minute act in period costumes complete with bowlers and spats.
It should be a real treat to hear this kind of talent in the small venue of Dimitriou’s Jazz Alley.
