All about music: Schedule of concerts around Snohomish County

Music at the Marina: The free outdoor concert series will be capped off by Clinton Fearon, Jamaican roots reggae, at 6:30 p.m. Aug. 29 at Port Gardner Landing, 1700 W. Marine View Drive. More at www.everettwa.gov.

Michelle Malone: The singer-songwriter from Georgia will perform at 7 p.m. Aug. 30 at the Looking Glass Cafe, 801 First St., Suite 201, Snohomish. Malone combines her gritty vocals with her style of blues, roadhouse rock ‘n’ roll and Georgia soul on guitar. Tickets are $10. Call 360-863-3557 for more information.

Jam Revival Music & Arts Festival: The new grassroots, outdoor festival is Sept. 6-7 at 7005 126th St. NW, Tulalip. Two stages will feature 11 bands and 11 DJs playing rock, bluegrass, soul, reggae, hip-hop, funk and electronic music. Oso (jam funk band) and Cytrus (power-funk) are the headliners. There will also be food and art vendors and art installations. Tickets are $25 online, $30 at the gate. All proceeds will be donated to the Ted Brown Music Outreach Program in Tacoma. Petty Fever: The Tom Petty tribute band will play at 7 p.m. Sept. 7 at the Historic Everett Theatre, 2911 Colby Ave., Everett. They’ll play Petty’s biggest hits, including “Free Fallin’,” “American Girl” and “Breakdown.” Tickets are $25. More at www.yourhet.org or call 425-258-6766.

Nu-Blu: The bluegrass and Americana band will perform at 7:30 p.m. Sept. 14 at Tim Noah Thumbnail Theater, 1211 Fourth St., Snohomish. Nu-Blu is led by husband-and-wife duo Daniel (multi-instrumentalist, singer) and Carolyn Routh (singer), who also host the television series, “Bluegrass Ridge.” The band’s most recent album, “Vagabonds,” has three top 10 national airplay hits: “Gypsies on Parade,” “640 Battlefield Drive” and “Still Small Voice.” Tickets are $20. The Gothard Sisters: The trio of sisters from Edmonds will play at 4 p.m. Sept. 15, at Tim Noah Thumbnail Theater, 1211 Fourth St., Snohomish. The Gothard Sisters perform traditional Celtic music with violin, guitar and the mandolin. Their most recent album, “Midnight Sun,” reached No. 6 on Billboard’s world music chart. Call 360-568-9412. Anton Schwartz and Marina Albero: The jazz duo will perform at 7 p.m. Sept. 18 at the Camano Center, 606 Arrowhead Road, Camano Island. Schwartz, on saxophone, has performed at prestigious jazz clubs and festival, including New York City’s Blue Note and Dizzy’s. India Arie: The Grammy Award-winning singer-songwriter will perform at 7:30 p.m. Sept. 21 at the Edmonds Center for the Arts, 410 Fourth Ave., N., Edmonds. Arie has sold more than 10 million records worldwide and has been nominated for 21 Grammy Awards, including a win for Best R&B Album in 2003 with “Voyage to India.” Tickets are from $44 to $79. Loren and Mark: The acoustic guitar virtuosos will perform at 2 p.m. Sept. 21 at the Everett Civic Auditorium, 2415 Colby Ave, Everett. Loren Barrigar and Mark Mazengarb play Americana, jazz, classical, bluegrass and gypsy jazz. The duo have won SAMMY Awards (Syracuse Area Music Award) for Best Americana Album in 2012, 2013 and 2014. The concert is part of a concert series by Everett Civic Music, a nonprofit founded in 1931. Port Gardner Bay Music Society: The “Vocal Ensemble Concert” is at 3 p.m. Sept. 22 at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church, 215 Mukilteo Blvd., Everett.
