I’m loving this season of “The Apprentice,” but the ratings are showing that not a lot of people are with me.
Monday night, NBC provides double the opportunity for people to not watch the show. The network announced today that it will air two episodes, starting at 9 p.m. The show airs on KING-TV, Channel 5.
In the first episode, for which we saw previews last week, the candidates build some kind of activity area for the Boys &Girls Club in what looks to be the annual, obligatory, we’ve-got-heart episode.
There will be tears … then they’ll all go back to ripping each other in the loft and in the boardroom.
The second episode has them pushing some kind of marketing deal for a new pizza sandwich from 7-11, and you can be sure that The Donald will try to convince us that he loves 7-11 —- maybe almost as much as Arby’s.
(Since most of you, again, according to the ratings, aren’t actually watching the show, that last bit was a reference to last week when the candidates had to promote a new chicken sandwich at Arby’s and Trump repeatedly told us how much he loves Arby’s. I’m willing to bet he hasn’t eaten an Arby’s roast beef sandwich since at least, you know, the whole bankruptcy thing.)
