Eight is enough: It’s Octopus Week at the Seattle Aquarium. Get down there by 11:30 a.m. today to see a diver swim with one. Keepers will feed them and tell you all about these creatures of the deep.
The fun goes on all week, too. The aquarium, open from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily, is at 1483 Alaskan Way, Seattle.
Admission is $17 for ages 13 and up, $11 for 4- to 12-year-olds, and free for 3 and under. Call 206-386-4320 or visit www.seattleaquarium.org for more information.
Doors open: Don’t forget that Imagine Children’s Museum, usually closed on Mondays, is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. today.
Admission is $7.50 for everyone over the age of 1, and covers continuing events such as all-ages carpet skating, which is set for 1 to 5 p.m.
The Imagine Children’s Museum is at 1502 Wall St., Everett. Call 425-258-1006, ext. 1012, or go to www.imaginecm.org for more information.
