Lisa Watkins of Arlington will be among 13 local cooks featured in “KCTS Cooks: Breakfast,” a new special airing from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday on KCTS, PBS Channel 9.
Cooks will do live demonstrations of their favorite breakfast recipes, interspersed with pre-taped segments featuring three professional restaurant chefs.
Watkins, co-owner of the River Rock Inn bed and breakfast in Arlington, will present Pacific Northwest smoked salmon puff pastry. Other featured breakfast favorites include Valencia crepes with raspberry filling, Italian-style eggs Benedict, and Guemes Island crab omelet.
