Hibulb Cultural Center: Hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday through Friday and noon to 5 p.m. weekends. The interactive exhibit allows visitors to explore how color has influenced Coast Salish people and how it is used today.
Pacific Northwest Quilt & Fiber Arts Museum: 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday through Sunday at 703 S. Second St., La Conner; www.qfamuseum.org; 360-466-4288. Admission is $7, with discounts for students, children, military and members. Formerly the La Conner Quilt Museum, the organization is celebrating 20 years with numerous new exhibits.
Museum of Northwest Art: Noon to 5 p.m. Sunday and Monday and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday, 121 First St., La Conner; www.monamuseum.org. Free. Currently featuring glass by Stanwood-area artist Kelly O’Dell. Also showing are works by Whiting Tennis and the late Clayton James. Through Sept. 24.
Art in the Park: Arlington Arts Council hosts its annual art showcase, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sept. 9-10 in Legion Park, 114 N. Olympic Ave. See art of many kinds, enjoy live music and a beer and wine garden.
Stanwood Summer Art Walks: 5 to 7:30 p.m. Aug. 25 and Sept. 29 on Main Street between 88th Avenue NW and Florence Road in East Stanwood.
Roaming Artists of Camano Island: About 25 artists will display their work 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sept. 2-3 at the Camano Multi-Purpose Center, 141 N. East Camano Drive. Local scenes are produced by artists in watercolor, oil and acrylic. The show is the finale of twice-weekly plein air “paint-outs” during the past 12 weeks.
Third Thursday Art Walks: Lots of new work will be displayed during the Everett Art Walk and Art Walk Edmonds on the evening of Sept. 21. In Edmonds, the walk starts at 5 p.m. and in Everett, the walk begins at 6 p.m. More at everettartwalk.org and artwalkedmonds.com.

Lynnwood Convention Center: An art exhibition, curated by Everett’s Schack Art Center, is displayed through December at the convention center, 3711 196th St. SW. The exhibit can be viewed during regular business hours Monday through Friday. The show will feature works by the Korean American Artist Association, including artists Miho Chung, Hyosoon Jung, Grace Kim, Jae Kim, Nam Kim, Sunyoung Kim, Jennifer Kwon, Junkyu Lee, Monica Namkung, Si Nam, Kyong Oh, Yang Park and Yuni Wong. Shibuya is a figurative painter who combines realism with abstraction and geometry, and Wessling specializes in narrative abstract paintings about people and their connections in the world.
