Schack Art Center: 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and noon to 5 p.m. Sunday; 2921 Hoyt Ave., Everett. Admission is free. Schack classes include drawing, printmaking, basketry, jewelry and metalsmithing, encaustic, painting, fused glass and blown glass. Teen Night is once a month from 6 to 8 p.m., with the next events Nov. 29 and Dec. 13. Each free event includes up to four different hands-on art projects with professional teaching artists for ages 13-18. The Holiday Art Show, featuring work from the Northwest Pastel Society, will take place through Dec. 29. This annual holiday art exhibit also features a diverse selection of glass, ceramic, wood and jewelry by regional artists. Cascadia Art Museum: 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Wednesday through Sunday. On third Thursdays, the museum is open until 8 p.m. and is free during Art Walk Edmonds hours, 5 to 8 p.m. The museum is at 190 Sunset Ave., Edmonds. Everett Community College: “Akira Ohiso: Fresh Eyes Digital” will be on exhibit through Dec. 6 at the college’s Russell Day Gallery. Akira is an artist, writer and musician who gained popularity as an outspoken blogger and social-media voice. Mountlake Terrace Library: 23300 58th Ave. W.; 425-776-8722. Through Nov. 30, view an exhibit of the works of Lauren Heerschap of Shoreline, featuring photographs from around the world. The photography of Henry Heerschap will be on exhibit beginning Dec. 1. Heerschap is a Seattle native and has lived in Shoreline for the past 26 years. He photographs landscapes, flowing and still water, and documenting old cars, buildings and other reminders of bygone days.
