Curtis Salgado in Arlington: The veteran Northwest bluesman returns for Arlington’s 8th Annual Legends of the Blues concert Nov. 20 at Arlington High School, 18821 Crown Ridge Blvd., Arlington. The show is a fundraiser for the Arlington Arts Council. The music will begin at 7:30 p.m. with Arlington’s Randy Norris and Jeff Nicely. Local band to perform at TEDx event: Snohomish County’s Marshall Law Band will perform at “TEDxSeattle 2021: Where We Are,” a virtual event set for Nov. 22 in which nine speakers will talk about making positive changes in 2022. The event is free; register at tedxseattle.com. Known for its social activism, the Marshall Law Band performed live at Black Lives Matter protests in Seattle in summer 2020. Its album, “12th & Pine,” was written at the CHOP (Capitol Hill Organized Protest).

Behind the scenes of a struggling theatre’s annual clumsy production of “A Christmas Carol,” rehearsals are at a standstill. Tim is no longer Tiny, Scrooge wants to do the play in Spanish (Feliz Navidad), and the play’s funding is on hold pending an inspection. Tickets are $20-$25.

Village Theatre holiday concert: The theater plans to celebrate the return of live entertainment with “Welcome Home, a Holiday Concert,” set for Nov. 19 through Dec. 15 at the Everett Performing Arts Center, 2710 Wetmore Ave., Everett.
