The Envrionmental Working Groups says to avoid polycarbonate altogether.
I spoke with a Mill Creek doctor who said parents shouldn’t replace their existing bottles, but they should avoid heating plastic baby bottles in the microwave. I found a Mukilteo mom who is weaning her family of plastics in part because of concerns, however inconclusive, about bisphenol A.
Read all about it here.
What do you think about bisphenol A? Are you going to ditch your Nalgene or switch to glass baby bottles if you have kids?
