Artistic director Rustin Klein reports that the new Everus Theatre is getting rave reviews from the public.
Klein and his wife Yvette put up their own dough and opened the theater in Snohomish for its first show, “Barefoot in the Park,” on Sept. 9.
This is the last weekend to see “Barefoot” which runs 7:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday at the Everus Theatre, 1910 Bickford Ave., Suite G, Snohomish. Tickets are $16. Call 360-863-3183 or go to .The Everuswebsite.
“The response has been incredibly positive, both for the show and the arrival of a new theater in town,” Klein said. “People are elated to have live stage shows in their community and are eager to see what we have in store for them with our 2011-2012 season. Our strive to entertain this town was very welcomed – making it to a second show is a testament to that.”
The second show planned at the Everus is “Who’s Afraid of Virginia Wolf” in December. Two one-act plays, “Lone Star” and its companion “Laundry and Bourbon,” debut in March. The season will close out in June with “Deathtrap.”
And that’s not all.
The “Grease Sing-A-Long” is at 7 and 10 p.m. Sept 30. Tickets are online for $7.
And the “Rocky Horror Halloween Party” has showings at 9:30 p.m. and midnight Oct. 29. Come as you aren’t. Tickets are $7.
