Beer, wine, spirits: Where to grab a drink in Snohomish County

McMenamins 2nd annual Distillers Festival: A number of local distillers, including Everett’s Bluewater Organic Distilling and Lynnwood’s Temple Distilling, will be pouring their spirits at the second annual McMenamins Distillers Festival from 4 to 8 p.m. Nov. 17 at McMenamins Anderson School, 18607 Bothell Way NE, Bothell. Tickets are $35 and include 10 tasting tokens.

Salish Sea Brewing’s 5th anniversary: Edmonds’ Salish Sea Brewing is hosting its fifth anniversary celebration all day Nov. 18 at the brewery, 518 Dayton St., Edmonds. There will be special beer releases, food specials and prizes.

Fremont Brewing tasting: Lynnwood’s Special Brews is hosting Seattle’s Fremont Brewing for a tasting at 5 p.m. Nov. 21 at the taproom, 14608 Highway 99, Suite 307, Lynnwood.

Thanksgiving at Foggy Noggin: Bothell’s Foggy Noggin Brewing continues its tradition of opening for Thanksgiving so families can have a pint for the special day. Open for pints and growler fills. The brewery will be open from 2 to 3 p.m. Nov. 22.

Stout Day at Middleton: Everett’s Middleton Brewing is hosting its annual Stout Day from 2 to 10 p.m. Nov. 24 at the brewery, 607 SE Everett Mall Way, Suite 27A, Everett.

Lost Bear Brews tasting: Snohomish’s Sound to Summit Brewing is hosting Woodinville’s Lost Bear Brews for a tasting at 6 p.m. Nov. 27 at the brewery, 1830 Bickford Ave., Suite 111, Snohomish.

Pelican Brewing tasting: Everett’s Toggle’s Bottleshop is hosting Oregon’s Pelican Brewing for a tasting at 6 p.m. Nov. 28 at the taproom, 1420 Hewitt Ave., Everett.

Lazy Boy Brewing tasting: Kenmore’s Lake Trail Taproom is hosting Everett’s Lazy Boy Brewing at 6 p.m. Dec. 4 at the taproom, 7324 NE 175th St., Suite F, Kenmore.

Farewell 18th Amendment at At Large: Everett’s At Large Brewing is hosting a Farewell 18th Amendment party from 6 to 9 p.m. Dec. 5 at the brewery, 2730 W. Marine View Drive, Everett. There will be photo ops, a costume contest and special beer releases.

Haywire Brewing’s 2nd anniversary: Snohomish’s Haywire Brewing is hosting its second anniversary celebration Dec. 8 at the brewery, 12125 Treosti Road, Snohomish. There will be five new beers on tap, a photo competition, raffle prizes and swag.

Sumerian’s 4th annual Christmas Ugly Sweater Event: Woodinville’s Sumerian Brewing is hosting its fourth annual Christmas Ugly Sweater Event from 6 to 9 p.m. Dec. 14 at the brewery, 15510 Woodinville-Redmond Road, Suite E-110, Woodinville.

Scrappy Punk’s 2nd anniversary: Snohomish’s Scrappy Punk Brewing is celebrating its second anniversary on Dec. 15 at the brewery, 9029A 112th Drive SE, Snohomish. There will be beer specials, unique growlers and a food truck.

Wass-Ale at Center Public House: Gather with the folks at Center Public House, 2925 115 Ave. A, Snohomish, on the Sunday before Christmas to have a few drinks, including some mulled wine, and do some caroling around town. The event begins at 5 p.m. Dec. 23.
