Beer, wine, spirits: Where to grab a drink in Snohomish County

SnoToberfest: The first ever SnoToberfest is from 7 to 9 p.m. Sept. 28 at SnoTown Brewing, 511 Second St., Snohomish. There will be beers, prizes and live music.

Whitewall Oktoberfest: Marysville’s Whitewall Brewing is hosting its 2019 Oktoberfest at 1 p.m. Sept. 28 at the brewery, 14524 Smokey Point Blvd., Suite 1, Marysville.

Oktoberfest Pub Crawl: The trio of south Everett breweries — Middleton, Crucible and At Large — and Soundbite Cider are hosting an Oktoberfest Pub Crawl on Sept. 28. Enjoy special Oktoberfest beer releases, brats, pretzel necklaces and more.

Anderson School Oktoberfest: Enjoy German-style beers, German food and live music at Anderson School’s Oktoberfest celebration on Sept. 28 at the McMenamins’ Mill Creek Brewery, 18607 Bothell Way NE, Bothell.

Oktoberfest at Dreadnought: Monroe’s Dreadnought Brewing is hosting Oktoberfest celebrations on Sept. 28 and Oct. 5. Along with Dreadnought beers, there will be Bavarian-style beers from Crucible Brewing, Haywire Brewing, At Large and more. There will also be brats and a Bavarian dance hall band. Tickets are $30 and include a commemorative mug, a free beer and brat.

Crucible brewers night at Whistle Workwear: Everett’s Crucible Brewing is teaming up with Whistle Workwear to host a brewers night to raise money for the Wounded Warrior Project and Send It Society at 6:30 p.m. Sept. 29 at Whistle Workwear, 10203 Evergreen Way, Everett. Donations of $20 will receive two beers, a tankard mug, a T-shirt and five raffle tickets.

Fresh Hop Invitational at The Independent: Everett’s The Independent Beer Bar is hosting 16 fresh hop beers from Northwest breweries for an invitational contest at 4 p.m. Oct. 1 at the taproom, 1801 Hewitt Ave., Everett. The top three most ordered beer will be crowned the winners. This year’s attendees include 5 Rights, At Large, Crucible, Hellbent, Middleton, Standard and Stoup.

Harvest Beer Celebration at Toggle’s: Everett’s Toggle’s Bottleshop will be pouring 22 taps of fresh hop, pumpkin beers and German-style ales at its Harvest Beer Celebration 6 p.m. Oct. 2 at the taproom, 1420 Hewitt Ave., Everett.

Oktoberfest with JT&C: Snohomish’s Josh’s Taps & Caps is hosting an Oktoberfest celebration on Oct. 5 at the taproom, 1800 Bickford Ave., Suite 210, Snohomish.

Fresh Hop Ale Festival: Yakima is hosting the Fresh Hop Ale Festival from 5 to 10 p.m. Oct. 5 at 5 W. Yakima Ave. There will be more than 70 breweries pouring fresh hop beers, including Skookum Brewery and At Large Brewing. Tickets are $45. More at www.freshhopalefestival.com.

Crucible Brewing’s 4th Anniversary: Everett’s Crucible Brewing is hosting its fourth anniversary at noon Oct. 5 at the brewery, 909 SE Everett Mall Way, Suite D440, Everett. The theme of the party is Viking Days and there will be axe throwing, viking duck races and live music. Beers releases include Molten Cherry, a tart sour, bourbon barrel-aged Putin Out stout and Grand Cru-cible, a Belgian dubbel.

Freshies and Friends at 5 Rights: Marysville’s 5 Rights Brewing is hosting a fresh hop event to showcase some of the best fresh hop beers around on Oct. 10 at the brewery, 1514 Third St., Marysville. Participating breweries include At Large, Skookum, Reuben’s, Crucible and Whitewall.

Beer and Dessert at SnoTown: Snohomish’s SnoTown Brewing is hosting a beer and dessert pairing at 3 p.m. Oct. 26 at the brewery, 511 Second St., Snohomish.
