Beer, wine, spirits: Where to grab a drink in Snohomish County

JP Trodden grand opening: Maltby’s JP Trodden bourbon distillery is hosting a grand opening for its new tasting room and distillery, 9206 200th St. SE, from 1 to 4 p.m. Nov. 16. There will be live music, grilled sausages and cocktails, beer and wine for purchase.

Cribbage tournament returns to Skookum: Arlington’s Skookum Brewery is hosting its annual cribbage tournament at noon Nov. 17 at the brewery, 17925 59th Ave. NE. Suggested donation is $10. $1 from every pint will go to the MS Foundation. There will be a food truck and raffle prizes.

Dreadnought Brewing tasting: Everett’s Crucible Brewing is hosting Monroe’s Dreadnought Brewing for a tasting event at 5 p.m. Nov. 20 at the Everett Foundry location, 909 SE Everett Mall Way, Suite D440.

Mac & Jack’s tasting: Everett’s Toggle’s Bottle Shop is hosting Redmond’s Mac & Jack’s for a tasting event at 6 p.m. Nov. 20 at the taproom, 1420 Hewitt Ave.

Brewsgiving at SnoTown: Snohomish’s SnoTown Brewing is hosting a Brewsgiving tap takeover celebration at 5 p.m. Nov. 21 at SnoTown Brewing, 1830 Bickford Ave., Suite 111. There will be a selection of beers from Snohomish County breweries like At Large Brewing, Haywire Brewing, 5 Rights Brewing, Lost Canoe Brewing, Scrappy Punk Brewing and more. A portion of the proceeds from the night will be donated to Ronald McDonald House.

Baby Goats + Pints at Scuttlebutt: Everett’s Scuttlebutt Brewing is hosting 10 Nigerian dwarf goats at a Baby Goats + Pints event on Nov. 23 at the taproom, 3314 Cedar St. Come in and play with baby goats, enjoy beer and tamales from LosTamaahles! The events is free and kid friendly.

ZNation Fan Day at 5 Rights: Marysville’s 5 Rights Brewing is hosting a ZNation fan event to celebrate the SyFy channel’s ZNation zombie show at noon Nov. 23. There will be all six ZNation tribute beers on tap, including Lucinda’s Blueberry Blonde, Full Metal Zombie IPA, Skeezy’s Brown Ale, Roberta Scotch Ale, Citizen Z Pale Ale and Doc’s Groove Hazy Pale.

3rd AnniBEERsary Bash at Lake Stevens: Lake Stevens Brewing is hosting its third anniversary celebration at 1 p.m. Nov. 23 at the brewery, 2010 Grade Road. There will be special beer releases, including a barrel-aged Russian Imperial Valhalla, raffle prizes, swag and more.

Thanksgiving at Foggy Noggin: Bothell’s Foggy Noggin Brewing will open its tasting room for Thanksgiving to sell beer to thirsty Turkey Day fans at 2 p.m. on Nov. 28, at the brewery, 22329 53rd Ave. SE. Get growlers to go for the feast.

Farewell to the 18th Amendment at At Large: Everett’s At Large Brewing is hosting a celebration for the end of prohibition at 5 p.m. Dec. 5 at the brewery, 2730 W. Marine View Drive. There will be a photo booth, costumes and special beer releases, including 2018 and 2019 versions of the brewery’s Russian Imperial Stout.
