Best bets: Egg hunts, tulips, plane history, music and more

Go outside: You won’t need a pass to park at Washington State Parks on Saturday. It’s one of a number of free days each year. Get more info here.

Pilots in paintings: History buffs and plane aficionados will enjoy an exhibit that’s visiting the Future of Flight Aviation Center at Paine Field. The subjects of the exhibit are black pilots in America. It includes artwork by local artist Chris Hopkins. Locals with proof of residency get in free to see the exhibit this weekend, Friday to Sunday. Get more info in our story here.

Walk: Take a 2-mile, roughly 2-hour guided walk at Four Springs Lake Preserve on Saturday. Meet at 9:50 a.m. in the Four Springs Parking Lot on Lewis Lane, off Camano Hill Road on the west side of Camano Ridge Road. You’ll get to see the preserve during a walk on the perimeter trail including the wetland trail. The perimeter trail includes two 50-foot fairly steep hills. A tour of the Four Springs House, Meadow Room and barn is also available. Rain or shine. Wear appropriate clothes and sturdy shoes or boots. No dogs. Get more info here.

Country sounds: The Down Home Country Roundup with the Marlin James Band is at 7:30 p.m. Friday at Historic Everett Theatre, 2911 Colby Ave., Everett. Tickets are $15.

Arty: Enjoy the lovely scenery on Whidbey Island and check out the Whidbey Allied Artists art and gift show from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday at Coupeville Recreation Hall, 901 NW Alexander St., Coupeville. There will be a variety of art for sale. Get more info here.

Drink: Sample beer, Scotch, whiskey and wine from 5 p.m. to midnight on Friday and 1 p.m. to midnight on Saturday at Fremont Studios, 155 N. 35th St., Seattle. Tickets are $20 to $35. Get more info here.
