BEST BETS ‘Hawaii Five-0’ goes to the Pro Bowl

Tonight

Suffering from post-Super Bowl withdrawal? Check out tonight’s football-themed “Hawaii Five-0,” which has McGarrett (Alex O’Loughlin) launching a crime investigation that leads to the Pro Bowl at Aloha Stadium. Houston Texans running back Arian Foster makes a guest appearance. 10 p.m., CBS.

Tuesday

In the new suspense thriller “Cult,” a journalist (Jeff Sefton) investigates the mysterious disappearance of his brother. Soon, he’s delving into the dark underworld of a creepy TV show that spawns wildly obsessive fans. 9 p.m., The CW.

Yes, there is still some life in “Body of Proof.” The drama, starring Dana Delany as medical examiner Megan Hunt, returns after a long layoff for a season 3 filled with mysteries and corpses. 10 p.m., ABC.

Wednesday

Say goodbye to Hollywood. “American Idol” moves on to Las Vegas, where not everyone will hit the jackpot. Tonight, 10 singers from the Top 40 contestants perform, and five of them will get the ax. 8 p.m., Fox.

The anxiety just never ends on “The Middle.” Poor Frankie (Patricia Heaton) wants to throw all her energy into her preparations for watching the Oscars, but she’s worried as heck that Brick (Atticus Shaffer) will get lost during his school trip to Chicago. 8 p.m., ABC.

Thursday

In the season 2 finale of “Suits,” Harvey (Gabriel Macht) goes all out to derail the proposed merger with a powerful British firm — a strategy that puts him at odds with Jessica (Gina Torres). 10 p.m., USA.

Friday

“Out There” is a new animated comedy about the misadventures of two high school outcasts living in a small town where they run face-first into “the wall of adolescence, the horrors of puberty, first loves, mortal enemies, local legends and social ostracism.” 10:30 p.m., IFC.

Saturday

Just in case you missed it the first time around, “American Ninja Warrior” is back with a barrage of season 4 highlights, including some previously unseen footage. 8 p.m., NBC.
