For this week’s round-up, we’ve got Feist tossing caution to the wind to play with fireworks, along with a guest spot by the Moldy Peaches on, umm, “The View.” And, just for the hell of it, a video from FunnyOrDie.com spoofs married couples’ social lives.
Onward:
Feist – “I Feel It All” – Music video
Director Patrick Daughters has seemingly found a one-shot muse in Feist, as he again directs a joyful romp of a video. It’s not as good as his “1 2 3 4” clip, but still, it’s fun.
The Moldy Peaches – “Anyone Else But You” – Live TV performance
The group gives a nice performance of their sudden-hit, “Anyone Else But You,” from the “Juno” soundtrack. As a bonus, look for the part after the performance – it comes 3:42 into the clip – when singer Kimya Dawson is identified as Colin Powell.
Riegel and Blatt – “Weekend Plans” – Music video
In the “funny because it’s true” category, we’ve got this video, spoofing the way social lives change after marriage. As a recent newlywed, it made me smile. My favorite line: “It’s almost strawberry season.” Runner up: “We’ll have game night, it’ll be fun, and we’ll play some Cranium.”
