Winter Scotch Dinner at Anderson School: Bothell’s McMenamins Anderson School is hosting a Winter Scotch Dinner at 7 p.m. Jan. 24 at the former school, 18607 Bothell Way NE. The multi-course meal will be accompanied by a Scotch tasting. Tickets are $115 and can be purchased at www.mcmenamins.com.

Crux Fermentation tasting: Snohomish’s Fred’s Rivertown Alehouse is hosting Bend’s Crux Fermentation Project for a tasting at 7 p.m. Jan. 24 at the alehouse, 1114 First St., Snohomish.

Pfriem tasting at Toggle’s Bottleshop: Everett’s Toggle’s Bottleshop is hosting Hood River’s Pfriem Family Brewers for a tasting at 5 p.m. Jan. 24 at the bottleshop, 1420 Hewitt Ave., Everett.

Firestone Walker tasting: Snohomish’s Josh’s Taps & Caps is hosting Firestone Walker for a tasting at 5 p.m. Jan. 25 at the bottleshop, 1800 Bickford Ave., Suite 210, Snohomish.

Foggy Noggin Barleywine Vertical 2018: Bothell’s Foggy Noggin Brewing will host a vertical tasting of its Duck’s Ass English Barleywine from 2013, 2015, 2016 and 2017 from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Jan. 25 at the brewery, 22329 53rd Ave SE, Bothell. The big barleywine is 11.2 percent ABV and is made with 100 percent English-grown floor malted barley, English-grown hops and dried fruits. A tasting of a fifth barleywine, Gold Label 2016, brewed to the specifications of Tennant’s 1954 Gold Label Barleywine. Tickets are $50 for the event, which is limited to 20 people.

Winter Dram Spirits Festival 2018: Sample spirits from more than 25 distillers at this year’s Winter Dram Spirits Festival from 7 to 10:30 p.m. Jan. 26 at WithinSodo, 2916 Utah Ave. S., Seattle.

Strange Brewfest: More than 30 breweries, including Everett’s Middleton Brewing, will be pouring inventive beers at Strange Brewfest from 5 to midnight Jan. 26 and from 1 p.m. to midnight Jan. 27 at the American Legion Hall, 209 Monroe St., Port Townsend. Tickets are $30 and can be purchased at www.strangebrewfestpt.com.

Pop-up IPA Festival at Lazy Boy: Everett’s Lazy Boy Brewing is hosting six other local breweries for a pop-up IPA festival from noon to 6 p.m. Jan. 27 at the brewery, 715 100th St. SE, Everett. Breweries include Naked City, Island Hoppin’, 192 Brewing, Flying Bike, Black Raven and Boundary Bay. Each brewery will provide two IPAs. Each ticket is $2 or $10 for six and $20 for 12.

9th annual Belgian Fest: The ninth annual Belgian Fest is from noon to 9:30 p.m. Jan. 27 at Seattle Center’s Fisher Pavilion, 305 Harrison St., Seattle. There will be more than 100 Belgian-style beers to try from a number of Washington breweries, including Everett’s Crucible Brewing and Lake Stevens Brewing. Tickets are $37 in advance and $45 at the door, and include 10 tasting tokens and a commemorative glass. For more information, visit www.washingtonbeer.com.

Lake Stevens Brewing tasting: Snohomish’s Sound to Summit Brewing is hosting Lake Stevens Brewing Co. for a tasting from 6 to 9 p.m. Jan. 30 at the brewery, 1830 Bickford Ave., Suite 111, Snohomish.

Aslan Brewing tasting: Lynnwood’s Special Brews is hosting Bellingham’s Aslan Brewing for a tasting at 5 p.m. Jan. 31 at the bottleshop, 14608 Highway 99, Lynnwood.

Washington Hop Mob Roadshow: The fourth annual Hop Mob, a 10-day celebration of triple IPAs, kicks off with an event at 3 p.m. Feb. 1 at Brouwer’s Cafe in Seattle, 400 N. 35th St., Seattle. The lone Snohomish County event is Feb. 8 at Sound to Summit Brewing, 1830 Bickford Ave. No. 111, Snohomish. For more information, visit www.wahopmob.com.

5 Rights Brewing tasting: Crucible Brewing is hosting 5 Rights Brewing for a tasting from 5 to 8 p.m. Feb. 7 at the Woodinville Forge, 12826 NE 178th St., Suite C, Woodinville.
