The Northwest Boychoir, whose members include young singers from Snohomish County, will perform in a spring concert at Benaroya Hall presented by Music of Remembrance, the chamber music organization dedicated to remembering Holocaust musicians and their art.
The concert, “Vedem,” is also the name of the piece of music created by composer Lori Laitman and poet David Mason. The name is a reference to the secret journal kept by the boys of the Nazi concentration camp Terezin.
Tenor Ross Hauck and mezzo-soprano Angela Niederloh will join the choir.
Also on the program is a melody for violin and piano by Egon Ledec and a Pavel Haas string quartet from 1938.
“Vedem” begins at 8 p.m. Monday at Benaroya Hall, 200 University Ave., Seattle.
Tickets are $36. Call 206-365-7770 or go to musicofremembrance.org.
