Jesse Cook: The Juno award-winning Canadian guitarist performs at 7:30 p.m. Feb. 6 at Edmonds Center for the Arts, 410 Fourth Ave. N. Tickets are $34 to $44. Call 425-275-9595. Widely considered one of the most influential figures in “nuevo flamenco” music, Cook incorporates elements of flamenco, rumba, jazz and many forms of world music into his work.

Seattle Symphony: Violinist Christian Tetzlaff performs Beethoven’s Violin Concerto, 8 p.m. Feb. 7, 2 p.m. Feb. 8, Benaroya Hall, 200 University St. Tickets from $20. Call 206-215-4747. Berlioz’s “Romeo et Juliette” will be performed on Feb. 12 and 14.

Rich DeCuir and the Starhomish Band and The Reclamation Project: The musicians perform at 7:30 p.m. Feb. 7, Tim Noah Thumbnail Theatre, 1211 Fourth S., Snohomish. Tickets are $10 at www.brownpapertickets or at the door. DeCuir celebrates the release of his second CD, “Charsal Yeah Again.” The Reclamation Project released its first CD “Live at the Hawthorne” a year ago.

Magical History Tour Concert: South End String Band plays a show to benefit the Floyd Norgaard Cultural Center, 7 p.m. Feb. 7 at the “Floyd,” 27130 102nd Ave. NW, Stanwood. Purveyors of old time fiddle music and dubious historical commentary, the band is sure to play some dance music. Come prepared. Finger food and appetizers served. Libations available for purchase. Everett Philharmonic Orchestra: “That Magnificent Mozart” concert program features Mozart’s Symphony No. 39 at 3 p.m. Feb. 8, First Presbyterian Church, 2936 Rockefeller Ave., Everett. Oboist Shannon Spicciati, who teaches at the University of Washington and Pacific Lutheran University, will perform Mozart’s Concerto for Oboe in C Major. Mozart’s Overture to the “Magic Flute” opens the program. Tickets, available online at www.everettphil.org, are $25 general admission or $20 for students and seniors. Festival seating.

Terrance Simien &the Zydeco Experience: The band plays at 7:30 p.m. Feb. 12 at the Edmonds Center for the Arts, 410 Fourth Ave. N. Tickets are $24 to $34. Call 425-275-9595. Grammy award-winning musician Terrance Simien, an eighth-generation Louisiana Creole, has been shattering the myths about what his indigenous Zydeco roots music is and is not. Leading his Zydeco Experience band, Simien has become one of the most respected and accomplished artists in American Roots music today.

The Lovin Spoonful’s John Sebastian: The legend sings at 7 p.m. Feb. 12 at the Historic Everett Theatre, 2911 Colby Ave., Everett. For tickets, call 425-258-6766.

“We Shall Overcome”: The fourth annual sing-along of the civil rights movement classic starts at 5:30 p.m. Feb. 12 at the Mill Creek Library, 15429 Bothell-Everett Highway. Accompanied by violin and guitar and led by Snohomish County Executive John Lovick, participants will sing the song that inspired one of the greatest freedom movements in nation’s history. Lyrics will be provided. Parking at the library is limited. Additional parking is available across the street at the Mill Creek Town Center. Use the crosswalk.

“The Muse Bird Cafe”: The Conway Muse presents Jaspar Lepak, Wes Weddell and Sean Morse at 7:30 p.m. Feb. 13 at 18444 Spruce St., Conway. More information at www.conwaymuse.com or call 360-445-3000. Tickets, $10, at the door.

Spencer Day: Take your love to this concert at 7:30 Feb. 14 at Edmonds Center for the Arts, 410 Fourth Ave. N. Tickets are $19 to $29. Call 425-275-9595. Raised in Pinetop, Arizona, by his mother, an accomplished soprano, singer and pianist, Day has earned rave reviews for jazz and pop performances in New York City.

Clint Black: Tickets are nearly sold out for the country music star’s show at 7:30 p.m. Feb. 20. It might be worth checking with the box office at the Edmonds Center for the Arts. Call 425-275-9595.

Cascade Symphony Orchestra’s Children’s Concert: 3 p.m. Feb. 21, Edmonds Center for the Arts. 410 Fourth Ave. N. The program includes Poulenc’s “The Story of Babar, the Little Elephant” and Paganini’s Violin Concerto No. 2, 3rd movement “La Campanella” performed by 11-year-old violinist Yesong Sophie Lee. The CSO percussion ensemble is set to perform. Children are invited to arrive at 2:15 for the orchestra’s “instrument petting zoo.” Tickets are $2 for children, $5 for students with ID and $10 for adults. Call 425-275-9595.

Tim and Jude Noah: This father-son duo, Tim on guitar and Jude on violin, play Americana, Celtic, folk, pop, gospel, blues and tin-pan alley at 7:30 p.m. Feb 21, Thumbnail Theatre, 1211 Fourth S., Snohomish. Tickets, $20, at www.brownpapertickets or at the door.

Pacifica Chamber Orchestra’s “Sunshine Concert”: 3 p.m. Feb. 22, First Presbyterian Church, 2936 Rockefeller Ave., Everett. The program includes “Divertimento Brilliante” by Glinka, Falla’s Concerto for Harpsichord, Flute, Oboe, Clarinet, Violin and Cello and Chausson’s Concerto for Violin, Piano and String Quartet. Mike Faast &Jamie Blair: The duo brings its high-energy “extreme bluegrass” to Everett Public Library Auditorium in a free concert at 2 p.m. Feb. 22 at 2702 Hoyt Ave., Everett. They will be joined for the concert by Seattle fiddler Paul Elliott of the Downtown Mountain Boys. From Darrington and Kent respectively, Faast &Blair are among the region’s elite bluegrass players. Faast &Blair have been headliners at the Darrington Bluegrass Festival and the Wintergrass Festival in Bellevue.
