Camano photographer’s work shown on island

Photographs by Camano Island photographer John Losee are on view through December at Islander’s Restaurant. The exhibit is part of the Galleries in the Loft exhibit series that take place at the Camano Island restaurant.

Losee has received numerous awards in juried and invitational shows, and his photographs have been exhibited in solo and group exhibitions in Seattle, Bellingham and Ellensburg, and closer to home in galleries in Anacortes, La Conner and Camano Island.

Islander’s Restaurant, located in Camano Commons, 848 N. Sunrise Blvd. (Terry’s Corner), is next door to Gallery in the Loft, where his photos are always on view.

The exhibit runs through Dec. 28. Losee will give a free talk at 5 p.m. Dec. 14 in the gallery; call 360-631-0668 to reserve a seat. More information, www.galleryintheloft.com.

Seasonal show: Holiday Celebration at the Grange at Rexville Grange in Skagit County offers the fine crafted products of more than 35 artists, including stoneware and porcelainware by organizer Marguerite Goff.

The show is open 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. today through Monday at the grange, located at 1929 Rexville Grange Road, between I-5 at exit 230 and La Conner. For information, call 425-327-0661.
