The Camwood Players will present part two of “The Silver Horseshoe Revue,” which sold out a couple of years ago, as its summer show and dinner theater production.
“The Silver Horseshoe Revue” is an all-new edition featuring music, comedy, drama and a “thrilling episode of an old-fashioned cliffhanger serial” presented in a radio show format, according to press material about the show.
Think Garrison Keillor’s “A Prairie Home Companion.”
Highlights of the revue include the Clip-Clop Comedy Crew; the adventures of “Buck Star: Hero of the New West”; and the soap opera “Prospecting for Passion.” Fiddlers, guitarists and singers will play traditional Americana music.
“The Silver Horseshoe Revue” opens at 8 tonight and runs at 8 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays through June 25 at the Stillaguamish Grange, 6521 Pioneer Highway, Stanwood.
A dinner theater option will be offered June 18 and 25. A dessert buffet matinee is scheduled for 3 p.m. June 19.
Tickets are $15 for show only; $27.50 for the dinner theater and $20 for the matinee with the dessert buffet. Advance purchase is required for dinner theater.
For tickets, call 360-629-4494 or go to the Snow Goose Bookstore, 8616 271st St. NW, Stanwood.
