For nearly 30 years, The Capitol Steps has performed fresh satire skewering the government.
Initially a pet project of real Capitol Hill staffers, The Capitol Steps now employs professional performers to whip up gags, spoofs, songs and other weapons in its arsenal of political humor.
It will bring the “MOCK” in Democracy back to Seattle with its “Liberal Shop of Horrors” tour, supporting its most recent album of the same name.
The Capitol Steps perform at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Paramount Theatre, 911 Pine St., Seattle.
