Carrie Fisher has extended her stay in Seattle, adding six dates of her popular one-woman show, “Wishful Drinking.”
“Wishful Drinking,” which inspired Fisher’s best-selling memoir of the same name, has been called a “Beverly Hills yard sale of juicy anecdotes” by the Los Angeles Times.
The show finds Fisher talking with humor and candor about her unusual life.
Among other things, she is the daughter of Debbie Reynolds, the ex-wife of Paul Simon, the actress who portrayed Princess Leia in “Star Wars” and a recovering drug addict who has undergone electro-shock therapy.
Her show began its stay on April 2 at Seattle’s Bagley Wright Theatre. The new dates run from May 5 to 9, when the show is scheduled to close.
Tickets are on sale now, and range from $25 to $75, with $15 seats available for those 25 or younger. To purchase, call 877-900-9285 or visit www.seattlerep.org.
