Catch Santa for a photo or sighting before he checks his list twice and packs up his sleigh.

A few places to catch him include the “County Christmas at the Fair” at the Island County Fairgrounds, Chapters Photography at Country Village in Bothell and at Bon-Macy’s Holiday Lane.

“Country Christmas at the Fair” in Langley is a holiday market offering all things Christmas from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday. Vendors sell handmade gifts and crafts and kids can visit with animals at a petting zoo. Food vendors provide tasty morsels for hungry visitors. Santa visits with kids and provides photo opportunities from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday.

Chapters Photography at Country Village in Bothell is offering pictures with Santa from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. today and Saturday and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday. Drop in for a photo or schedule an appointment.

Although Bon-Macy’s annual Santa brunches are sold out, kids can still have pictures taken with Santa at Center Court at Everett Mall or at Bon-Macy’s in downtown Seattle.

Pictures at Everett Mall are from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. today through Thursday and 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Dec. 24. Arthur and Associates provides photo packages starting at $15. No appointment is necessary.

Tired of Santa? Visit GalleryFest at four locations in Stanwood and Camano Island for a holiday art exhibit. Works of fine arts and crafts by various artists are on display through December.

Participating shows and galleries include History of the World Fine Art Gallery featuring its 16th annual “Honey I Shrunk the Art” miniatures exhibit; “Lost in Abstraction” at Stanwood House Gallery &Art Center; “Festive Findings – A Fine Arts and Crafts Show” at Gallery at Utsalady Bay (also known as David Maritz Studio); and a mixed show at Gallery in the Loft at Brindles Marketplace, located at the Camano Commons complex.

There are lots of places to see Christmas lights this time of year. A casual drive or stroll though the neighborhood brings many homes decorated to the nines.

One fun way for families to view lights is down at the Port of Edmonds’ “Holiday Lighting on the Docks.”

Edmonds Yacht Club members moved boats to the guest moorage area and decorated with lights for a festive effect on the water. Twenty-seven boats light up nightly from dusk until about 11 p.m. through Dec. 26.
