One of the most-popular singing groups in the world will take the stage Saturday at Comcast Arena.
Irish supergroup Celtic Thunder (celticthunder.ie) first became popular in this country after its 2008 public television special. Since then, the singers have continued to win fans.
When the group stopped in Everett in December 2008, it sold out the arena.
Irishmen Damian McGinty, Keith Harkin, Paul Byrom, Ryan Kelly and Scotsman George Donaldson are said to deliver an amazing and thrilling live performance.
They take turns singing solo and together covering a diverse set of musical genres. That could explain their mass appeal and ability to make their recordings fly off shelves.
They’ve performed at the White House, in the St. Patrick’s Day Parade in New York, and now, in a repeat performance, for Snohomish County fans.
