What: A climb up to some nice views from Tiger Mountain’s west flank.
Where: Take I-90 to exit 17, turn right onto Front Street. Stay on Front Street as it turns into Issaquah-Hobart Road. Park on the left at the paraglider landing site and find the trail on the far side of the field.
Length: 3.4 miles roundtrip
Difficulty: Moderate.
Beginning elevation: 200 feet.
Elevation gain: 1,580 feet.
Permit: None.
Map: Green Trails No. 204S, Tiger Mountain
Notes: This trail is more scenic in the summer, when the hang gliders and paragliders who use it are soaring overhead, but the views can be nice even in winter and it offers a short, strenuous workout. There are a few trees down on the trail, but it is in better shape than many of the others on Tiger Mountain.
