“In His Hands,” a Christian rock opera by local composer Susan Olmos, returns to the stage after a 30-year hiatus. It’s a benefit for homeless children and teens. Performances are at 7:30 p.m. May 13, 3 and 7:30 p.m. May 14 and 3 p.m. May 15 in the theater at Mountlake Terrace High School.
Olmos is the Holy Rosary Edmonds Church music director. The parish is sponsoring the performances along with the Edmonds-based nonprofit Washington Kids in Transition.
The story follows the recollections of the Apostle Peter describing the passion of Christ.
Kamiak High School graduate Galen Dole, who plays Jesus, studied music at the University of Rochester where he sang in the elite a capella ensemble The YellowJackets.
