The Whidbey Island Music Festival: The festival presents six concerts of four different programs showcasing baroque music of the 17th and 18th centuries. Opening night is “The Glories of Venice,” featuring soprano Catherine Webster singing Monteverdi, Rosenmuller and Vivaldi; the second program showcases “Imperial Vienna,” with instrumental and vocal fireworks by Biber, Bertali, Schmelzer, Arrigoni and Kapsberger; “Mozart’s Magical Flute” is a program of flute quartets by Mozart, Haydn and their contemporaries; program four is an evening of J.S.
