George Winston: The Grammy award-winning pianist performs for a benefit for the Good Cheer Food Bank at 7:30 p.m. Sept. 16 at the Whidbey Center for the Arts, 565 Camano Ave., Langley. The Stereo Wire Presents: Henry Yarsinske of KSER is hosting a show at 8 p.m. Sept. 24 at the Anchor Pub, 1001 Heweitt Ave., Everett. Tickets are $5. Bands are Midnight Lights, Crystal Desert, Greet the Sea, and Fauna Shade. DJ Swade will spin tunes between the bands.

Jim Page: Folk, blues and storytelling, 7 p.m. Sept. 23, Cafe Zippy, 2811 Wetmore Ave., Everett. Donate $10 to $15. Page has shared the stage with the likes of Bonnie Raitt, Emmylou Harris, and J.J. Cale.

Ambrosia: The L.A. band that brought you the 1975 hit “Time Waits for No One” plays at 8 p.m. Sept. 24, Historic Everett Theatre, 2911 Colby Ave., Everett. Tickets are $36 to $49; 425-258-6766.

Jazz at the Center: Julian MacDonough, a well-known jazz drummer from Bellingham, performs with Dixie, a six-piece Louis Armstrong tribute band, at 7 p.m. Sept. 28, Camano Center, 606 Arrowhead Road, Camano Island. Tickets are $20. Free for students with ID.

Organ virtuoso David di Fiore: The internationally known organist performs at 7:30 p.m. Sept. 30 at Trinity Episcopal Church, 2301 Hoyt Ave., Everett. His recital will be played on the church’s 3-manual, 28-rank Balcom &Vaughn/Bosman pipe organ. Originally from Seattle, di Fiore’s last performance at Trinity was at the dedication of the organ.

Maltby Bluegrass Jam: First Saturday of the month, beginning Oct. 1, at the Maltby Community Club, 8711 206th St. SE. Open jam at 2 p.m., potluck at 5 p.m., stage show at 6 p.m. Call Jan Jones, 360-568-3685.
