Cascade Symphony Orchestra: The annual children’s concert is 3 p.m. Feb. 11 at Edmonds Center for the Arts, 410 Fourth Ave. N. The concert is “The Tortoise and the Hare.” Dave Dolacky is back as the narrator. Pianist Nathan Zhao, an Edmonds 10-year-old, is the concert soloist. Organ recital series at Trinity: Lynwood’s Trinity Lutheran Church resumes its popular organ recital series featuring Paul Thornock, director of music at St. James Cathedral in Seattle, in concert at 7 p.m. Feb. 19 at the church, 6215 196th St. SW. Day of the Accordion: The Northwest Accordion Society (with members from Snohomish County) is celebrating its annual Day of the Accordion on Feb. 25 at the Crossroads Bellevue Market Stage, 15600 NE Eighth St., Bellevue. Eleven bands featuring the accordion will perform a variety of music, from folk, jazz, polkas, zydeco, Scandinavian and popular standards for listening and dancing from 11:30 a.m. until 9 p.m. Admission is free.

Sno-King Community Chorale: The chorale, along with a children’s choir and orchestra, will present the West Coast premiere of Sir Karl Jenkins “Cantata Memoria — For the Children,” commemorating the 50th anniversary of the 1966 disaster that killed 116 children when a coal mine slid into a school in Aberfan, South Wales.
