Kamiak Jazz Invitational: Kamiak High School, 10801 Harbour Pointe Blvd., Mukilteo, hosts this annual jazz festival March 25 featuring performances by nine high school and middle school jazz bands and a special guest DoctorfunK, a Seattle-based 10-piece horn and rhythm ensemble. Choral Arts Northwest: The choir will perform a new work by John Muehleisen, “But Who Shall Return Us Our Children: A Kipling Passion.” The piece tells the story of Rudyard Kipling’s son who died in World War I and examines the sacrifices made by veterans and their families.
