Marc Cohn: 7:30 p.m. May 5, Edmonds Center for the Arts. Call for tickets, $29 to $64, at 425-275-9595. The Grammy award-winning singer/songwriter (“Walking in Memphis”) is on tour behind the release of his new album, “Careful What You Dream: Lost Songs and Rarities.”

Wes Weddell Band: 7:30 p.m. May 6, Tim Noah Thumbnail Theater, 1211 Fourth St., Snohomish. An award-winning songwriter/guitarist, Weddell built a regional following while a student at the University of Washington by chronicling local communities in song. The band also includes bassist Alicia Healey, Brian Hoskins on keyboards and Dave Bush on percussion. Tickets are $15.

A Celtic Celebration: Northwest Junior Pipe Band offers this concert at 7 p.m. May 6 at Edmonds Center for the Arts, 410 Fourth Ave. N. For tickets, call the box office at 425-275-9595.

MPC Brass: Free concert by this ensemble from Mukilteo Presbyterian Church at 6 p.m. May 7, Westminster Presbyterian Church, 2531 Hoyt Ave., Everett. These horns of plenty present a program of jazz, patriotic, sacred and other styles of music suitable for all ages. Reception to follow.

Cascade Symphony Orchestra: The orchestra’s 55th season finale is 7:30 p.m. May 8 at the Edmonds Center for the Arts, 410 Fourth Ave. N. The program includes Ravel’s arrangement of Mussorgsky’s “Pictures at an Exhibition,” Tchaikovsky’s “Marche Slave” and the Haydn cello concerto in C major performed by Meeka Quan DiLorenzo.

Marc Tachell “Everett Rock”: The sixth annual Everett Rock Party is 2 to 11 p.m. May 13 at the Rockin’ M BBQ, 1215 80th St., Everett, www.rockingmbbq.com. The lineup includes Moon Daddy Band, Lone State, Michelle Taylor Band, Fever 103 and Medicine Hat.

Mill Creek Chorale: The group’s third annual spring concert, “I Sing Because I’m Happy,” is offered at 3 p.m. and again at 7 p.m. May 13, Advent Lutheran Church, 4306 132nd St. SE, Mill Creek. General admission is $12, seniors and teens $8, children free. Sean Berg conducts the 75-member choir, which has prepared sacred and secural choral music.

Time Travelers: Joe and Paula McHugh perform at 7:30 p.m. May 13 at Tim Noah Thumbnail Theater, 1211 Fourth St., Snohomish. Old-time music, storying-telling and lively duets.

Women of the World concert: 7:30 p.m. May 14, Edmonds Center for the Arts, 410 Fourth Ave. N. Music in 23 languages. Tickets start at $14. For information, go to www.edmondscenterforthearts.org.

Jazz at the Center: The series continues with the Dmitri Mathany Quintet, 7 p.m. May 17, Camano Center, 606 Arrowhead Road, Camano Island. General admission tickets $17, students free with ID.

Live at the Opera House: 5 p.m. third Thursdays, Marysville Opera House, 1225 Third St. Admission is $5. The series schedule: May 18: Danny Ward Quartet. June 15: Joan Penney Trio. July 20: Soulevard. Aug. 17: The Margaret Wilder Band.

Edmonds Jazz Connection: Featuring school bands, vocal jazz groups and instrumental combos, all day May 20 at Edmonds Center for the Arts, Holy Rosary Parish Hall and the Edmonds movie theater. More information is at www.jazzconnection.org. Offered by the Rotary Club of Edmonds Daybreakers.

John Pizzarelli and Ann Hampton Callaway: This jazz and classic standards duo will entertain with songs from the Great American Songbook at 7:30 p.m. May 20 at Edmonds Center for the Arts, 410 Fourth Ave. N. Tickets start at $15 for youth, $25 for adults. Call 425-275-9595.

Northwest Chorale: Under the direction of Lynn Hall, the choir presents Handel’s oratorio “Israel in Egypt” at 7:30 p.m. May 20 at Edmonds United Methodist Church, 828 Caspers St. An offering supports Northwest Harvest. The oratorio was written two years before “Messiah.”

Mukilteo Community Orchestra: “Music from the Age of Jazz” will be performed at 2 p.m. May 21, Rosehill Community Center, 304 Lincoln Ave., Mukilteo. The free concert includes works by Ravel, Respighi and Shostakovich.

Summer Vibes: The Arlington Arts Council presents this concert at 7:30 p.m. May 27 at Byrnes Performing Arts Center, 18821 Crown Ridge Blvd., Arlington. Performing are Elias Kauhane with the sounds of Hawaii, Andian Xavier offering reggae and the Harvey Creek Band playing country and blues. Tickets are $15. Children get in free.

Roy Rogers &Delta Rhythm Kings: A fundraiser blues concert for Citrine Health’s breast cancer care program is set for 7 p.m. May 27 at Citrine, 2940 W. Marine View Drive, Everett. Advance tickets are $35 or $40 at the door. Refreshments and dancing included. Go to www.citrineblues.org. The concert also features Sheri Greimes and JoMomma.

Pacifica Chamber Orchestra: The ensemble’s annual summer concert is 3 p.m. June 4, First Presbyterian Church, 2936 Rockefeller Ave., Everett.
