Air Force Band of the Golden West’s Commanders Jazz Ensemble: Free concert, 7 p.m. Aug. 24, Everett Performing Arts Center, 2710 Wetmore Ave.

Jerry Dadap: The classical guitarist will perform a free concert of music by Villa-Lobos, Bach and Rodrigo at 7 p.m. Aug. 24, Stanwood Library, 9701 271st St. NW. A reception follows.

Women of Everett: In a fundraiser for KSER radio, local musicians will present a concert at 9 p.m. Aug. 26 at the Anchor Pub, 1001 Hewitt Ave., Everett. Those performing include Kelsey Hopkins, Sleepover Club with Sierra Rosario and Katee Brown, KSER DJ goawaysun, aka Hilary McGowan, Christa Porter and Stephanie Thompson, and a trio called Laura with Mary Adams from Oliver Elf Army, Sarah Feinberg of Tellers and Laura Chism.

Everett Food Truck Festival: Noon to 7 p.m. Aug. 26 at Wetmore Avenue and California Street, hosted by Live in Everett. The free live music (2 to 6 p.m.) lineup includes Tilson XOXO, Spirit Award, Eastern Souvenirs and The Porters from Everett.

Qristina and Quinn Bachand: This Irish Music Awards-winning sibling duo performs at 4 p.m. Aug. 27 at the Tim Noah Thumbnail Theater, 1211 Fourth St., Snohomish. The Bachands fuse genres such as old-time, Celtic, folk and jazz to create their own musical style. They have toured with Ashley MacIsaac and Natalie MacMaster. Tickets are $15.

Sky River Rock Festival: Aug. 25-26, River Park, under the U.S. 2 bridge across from 215 Main Street, Sultan. A tune-up to the 50th anniversary next summer of the 1968 Sky River Rock Festival and Lighter Than Air Fair. Information and tickets at www.skyriverrockfestival.rocks.

Cocoon House rock/hop benefit: Noon to 11 p.m. Aug. 26, Historic Everett Theatre, 2911 Colby Ave. Hosted by Dylan Miller, the event will include 20 local bands (including Lunchroom Kids, Sleepwell Citizen and Skye Monkey), live paintings to be auctioned, poetry and comedy. Stanwood Summer Concerts: Free concert by Chris Eger and his band at 4 p.m. Aug. 26 on 271st in east Stanwood. Mark DuFresne takes the stage at 4 p.m. Sept. 9 on 270th in west Stanwood. More at www.facebook.com/stanwoodsummerconcertseries.

American Foundation for Suicide Prevention Benefit Concert: 8 p.m. Sept. 5 at Tony V’s Garage, 1716 Hewitt Ave., Everett. DJ Samwich, Alex Payne, Jacob Fullerton. Hosted by David Calloway, the event also includes poetry and comedy by Lil Ben. Admission is $5.

Simon Lynge: Normanna Lodge presents a concert by this Danish singer/songwriter and acoustic guitarist at 7 p.m. Sept. 9, at 2725 Oakes Ave., Everett. Rolling Stone magazine called Lynge’s debut album “one of the most memorable and melodic … of recent years.” Admission is $15; tickets at simonlyngenormanna.brownpapertickets.com.

Live at the Opera House: 5 p.m. third Thursdays, Marysville Opera House, 1225 Third St. Admission is $5. The series continues Sept. 21 with Jill Newman and Oct. 19 with Kellee Bradley.
