Concerts: Daughtry, Patty Griffin, Against Me!

Chris Daughtry was a loser on “American Idol,” but a winner on the charts.

Despite being a season 5 castoff, Daughtry saw both his albums debut at No. 1: his self-titled 2006 debut and its 2009 follow-up, “Leave this Town.”

The rock singer will bring his band — also called Daughtry — to Seattle in May. I don’t have the passwords for that concert’s presale. If you do, drop them in the comments section.

Daughtry isn’t the only rock show coming to the Seattle area. The excellent punk band Against Me! will hit Neumos for a very cheap $10 show. Buy those tickets.
