The popular television shows, “Dancing with the Stars” and “So You Think You Can Dance,” made ballroom dancing hot, and now fans will get to see some of the stars from those shows perform in the Latin ballroom dance production “Burn the Floor” at the Paramount Theatre.
Robbie Kmetoni, Ashleigh Di Lello and Ryan Di Lello, Karen Hauer and Janette Manrara will appear as featured dancers during the 2010-11 U.S. tour of “Burn the Floor.” All five have been seen on “So You Think You Can Dance,” according to press material from the Paramount.
In addition, dancers Anya Garnis and Pasha Kovalev will join the touring company after performing in the London production now playing at the Shaftesbury Theatre, the press material said.
“Burn the Floor” opens at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Paramount, 911 Pine St., Seattle. The show runs at various times through Sept. 19.
