Dave of Head Like a Kite and Asya of Smoosh have worked together before on HLAK albums and enjoyed working together so much that the two decided it was time to join forces on a more formal level and start a new band. Boom! Daydream Vacation was born.
About two months ago I got to catch up with these two for a quick interview after their first official show as a new band when they played at the Seattle Art Museum. Last night I saw Daydream Vacation perform again when they played the City Arts Fest opening party and the show was great. They sounded amazing and really got the party started. After seeing Daydream Vacation play for the second time I thought this would be a great time to release the audio from our interview.
