Downloading books is like On Demand for readers, but it’s free with your library card.
The Everett Public Library and the Sno-Isle libraries offer hundreds of books, new releases and classics, that you can download to your computer and then burn to a CD or upload to a mobile device like your iPod.
If you’re not sure how to go about this, visit the OverDrive Digital Bookmobile when it stops at the Evergreen Branch of the Everett Library or at the Monroe Library this week.
The 18-wheeler bookmobile will have hands-on demonstrations and tutorials to show you how you can download books anywhere, anytime.
The traveling bookmobile will be at Evergreen, 9512 Evergreen Way, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday, and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday and Saturday at the Monroe Library, 1070 Village Way.
Ready to go ahead without a demo? Check out the audio download section at www.epls.org or www.sno-isle.org.
