Words &Wine welcomes Vincent Bugliosi
On Sept. 9, Vincent Bugliosi joins Words &Wine host Warren Etheredge onstage for what is sure to be an interesting conversation.
Bugliosi, who became famous when he prosecuted Charles Manson, recently testified before the House Judiciary Committee on the power of the president. In his latest book, “The Prosecution of George W. Bush for Murder,” published in May, Bugliosi sets forth the legal architecture and evidence to put George W. Bush on trial for the murder of more than 4,000 American soldiers in Iraq.
Bugliosi is adamant his book is not a partisan position. “I can give a 100 percent guarantee that if a Democratic president had done what I believe Bush did, I would be writing the same, identical book,” he said.
Words &Wine events take place at 6:30 p.m. at W Seattle, 1112 Fourth Ave. Cost is $50 per person, which includes a signed copy of the book, appetizers and wine.
The featured wines for the “Bugliosi evening” are Chateau Ste. Michelle 2007 Cold Creek Riesling and Chateau Ste. Michelle 2004 Cold Creek Cabernet Sauvignon. For other cocktails, the W Seattle will provide a no-host bar.
Reservations are required and can be made by calling the book events’ office at 206-632-2419 or emailing info@kimricketts.com.
