If your kids love dinosaurs (and what kid doesn’t?) take them to the Oregon Zoo in Portland this summer for the Prehistoric Predators exhibit.
Visitors follow a trail through a forest inhabited with animatronic creatures roaring, snarling and moving with realistic ferocity.
The dinosaurs represent 17 species from the Jurassic and Cretaceous periods. Along the trail are spots where the kids can unearth fossils, and there are plenty of photo opportunities.
The exhibit runs through Sept. 6, and a $3.50 admission is in addition to regular zoo admission of $10.50 ($7.50 for children).
The Oregon Zoo is at 4001 SW Canyon Road, Portland, Ore. For more information, go to www.oregonzoo.org.
