For any children whose parents have promised them a trip to Disneyland, a taste of the theme park and all its activities is coming to our neighborhood.
Disney on Ice programs have entertained families for 26 years. The latest version, “A Magic Kingdom Adventure featuring The Incredibles,” will have eight shows beginning Wednesday at Everett Events Center
The Incredibles are a family consisting of two parents and three children, all of whom have superhero powers. The family wants to take a vacation and decides on Disneyland. However, their vacation becomes anything but typical.
Adventure ensues as the characters try to mask their powers and simply enjoy the park’s different themes, including It’s a Small World, Pirates of the Caribbean, the Haunted Mansion and Jungle Cruise.
Along the way, they interact with Mickey and Minnie Mouse, and other Disney favorites.
Soon, though, they are reminded that their powers, which include being super-fast, invisible, elastic, able to pass through solid objects and emit an wave of energy, are necessary to protect the world against evil, even in Disneyland – and that duty never takes a vacation.
The problem arises when the villain Syndrome shows up, intending to ruin the family’s fun vacation. Now, the characters must use their powers to stop him.
In order to engage the audience, children will be provided with wrist cuffs called Incredi-bands, which light up, so they can have that superhero feeling too.For parents ready to revisit their favorite Disney characters, and for kids ready to act like superheroes, “A Magic Kingdom Adventure featuring the Incredibles” is an action-packed event that fits the bill.
