It’s rockhounding heaven.
Jewelry, fossils, displays, digging-site maps and nearly everything else related to the hobby will claim their places this weekend at the Washington National Guard Armory building on Oakes Avenue in Everett for the Everett Rock &Gem Club’s 56th annual show. Admission is free.
Silversmithing, stone grinding and polishing demonstrations are planned, and experts will answer questions about the displays and the hobby, according to press materials.
Information on joining the club will be available.
Visitors also may bring in jewelry, or even just ideas, for consultations with designers.
Guests can expect door prizes, a silent auction and refreshments. Kids can take home a polished rock and play mineral bingo.
