Enjoy a stout (or eight) at Middleton Brewing Saturday

Celebrate International Stout Day at Everett’s Middleton Brewing on Saturday, Nov. 8 at noon. Middleton will have eight unique stouts on tap. A pint is $5, schooner is $3 and a sample is $1.50. Here’s a look at them:

1. 14 Steps: Peanut Butter &Chocolate Oatmeal Stout

A smooth, semi sweet oatmeal stout with a sublt peanut-butter aroma and a mild creamy chocolate taste. ABV: 7.3; IBU 52.

2. Dessert First: Raspberry &Chocolate Stout

Brewed by Adam, our brewers assistant. Light bodied stout with a bold raspberry flavor and aroma. ABV: 5.5; IBU: 35.

3. Jaywalking Grandma: Candy Cane Milk Stout

Brewed in collaboration with Marysville’s Whitewall Brewing. A smooth and creamy milk stout with a strong peppermint aroma and finish. ABV: 7.5; IBU: 43.

4. Mint to Be: Coffee, Chocolate &Mint Stout

Brewed with cold brewed coffee from Rad Roasting Co. A subtle coffee flavor with semi-sweet, bold mint/chocolate taste and aroma. ABV: 5.1; IBU: 29.

5. The Dude: Sarsaparilla &Vanilla Stout

An experimental stout brewed with Indiana Sarsaparilla and a touch of vanilla. A bold earthy aroma with a bitter vanilla finish. ABV: 5.7. IBU: 35.

6. I Hate Black Licorice: Black Licorice Stout

Love it or hate it, it had to be done. A dark roasted aroma with a bitter licorice finish. ABV: 6.4; IBU: 37.

7. Puget Sound Stout: Chocolate Oatmeal Stout

A recipe kit from our friends at Homebrew Heaven in Everett. A deep, dark stout with an undertone of roasted coffee and semi-sweet chocolate. ABV: 5.5. IBU: N/A.

8. Campfire Stout: S’mores Stout (Guest tap)

Brewed by High Water Brewing in California. A smooth, sweet stout with a mild marshmallow aroma and a balanced chocolate and graham cracker taste. ABV: 6.5; IBU: 38.
