EDMONDS — The Everett Chorale and the Shoreline Concert Band have a patriotic concert planned, just in time for Veterans Day.
“A Salute to America” will be performed at 7:30 p.m. Nov. 10 at Edmonds Center for the Arts, 410 Fourth Ave. N.
Clarinetist Staff Sgt. Harry Ong of the President’s Own United States Marine Corps Band is the featured soloist.
Familiar songs to be performed include “The Battle Hymn of the Republic,” “God Bless America” and “America the Beautiful.”
Admission to the concert — sponsored by Coldwell Banker Bain of Edmonds/Lynnwood — is by donation. Guest passes can be picked up at CBBain Edmonds (108 Fifth Ave. S.) or Lynnwood (4100 194th St. SW, No. 135). General seating will open at 7:15 p.m.
All proceeds will benefit student scholarships and general operations for the Shoreline Concert Band and the Everett Chorale. More about the chorale is at everettchorale.org.
