Gardening enthusiasts and nature lovers can explore a wide selection of plants and trees over three days beginning Saturday at Evergreen Arboretum and Gardens in Everett.
This weekend, the arboretum will host its annual plant-sale fundraiser, which will run from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday and again from 4-7 p.m. on “half-price” Monday. The sale will be held in the upper parking lot of American Legion Park, 145 Alverson Blvd.
Described as “a gardener’s paradise,” the sale will feature plants and trees from individual gardeners and local nurseries.
“What sets this sale apart is the unbeatable prices all three days,” organizers said in a press release.
Raffle tickets for eight prizes will be sold for a dollar each. Drawing will be held Aug. 18 during the arboretum’s SculptureWalk event.
