Everett’s waterfront is more than just a pretty view.
So the Port of Everett is offering the public a chance to see what a working waterfront looks like up close as it kicks off its third annual Working Waterfront Harbor Tours.
The Port of Everett, along with the city of Everett Parks Department, offers a series of five tours exploring the Everett waterfront.
The tours are free.
Each tour can accommodate 75 guests on a ferry boat ride while port staffers cover topics including international trade, property development, marina facilities, public access amenities and environmental stewardship, according to a press release about the tours.
The ferry boards at the port’s 10th Street Boat Launch and Marine Park 15 minutes before each tour departure time.
The tour times and dates are:
5:30 to 6:30 p.m. Wednesday
5:30 to 6:30 p.m. June 29
10 to 11 a.m. July 17
10 to 11 a.m. Aug. 14
5:30 to 6:30 p.m. Sept. 7
On Sundays, guests must pay a $3 parking fee per vehicle. Space is limited, and children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
