The weather outside might be frightful, or not, but inside Pacific Place the forecast calls for frosty flurries and special surprise guests, courtesy of Pacific Northwest Ballet. There is no charge for what has become Pacific Place’s Christmas card to the community — a delightful snow event serving as the backdrop for people to make their own holiday magic, from marriage proposals to cleverly costumed Santas and elves staging walk-throughs.
Information about the nightly snowfall is posted on the downtown shopping destination’s Web site (www.pacificplaceseattle.com/) or call the Concierge Desk for information at 206-405-2655.
Snow shows are presented at 6 p.m. nightly today through Dec. 31 in the shopping center’s four-story atrium. The month-long community celebration will be accompanied by traditional sounds of the season featuring such tunes as Tony Bennett’s classic rendition of ‘Winter Wonderland” and “Sleigh Ride” performed by Amy Grant. Each performance lasts approximately 10 minutes.
Pacific Place will be closed Christmas Day.
