Comcast Community Ice Rink celebrates children’s health with High Five Skate for Kids Sake, a benefit for Providence Children’s Center from noon to 2 p.m. May 24.
In addition, the ice rink will raise funds with a goal of $1,000 during a monthlong benefit. Fundraising flyers will be sold in $1, $5 and $10 denominations at the skate rental counter.
All admission fees and funds raised will benefit Providence Children’s Center at Providence Everett Medical Center. Funds will support programs offered by the Children’s Center, including Camp Prov, Children’s Development Services, High-risk Infant Assessment and Follow-Up, Newborn Hearing Screenings, Pediatric Interim Care and Medically Fragile Pediatric Interim Care.
The Children’s Center is one of the largest comprehensive resources for kids and families in need in the state.
