Suncadia’s second annual food and wine festival, Wine in the Pines, will include a guest appearance by Seattle chef and restaurateur Tom Douglas, who will join the resort’s executive chef, Andrew Wilson, to prepare the Winemaster’s Dinner on Aug. 22.
Wine in the Pines will feature wine from 40 premier Washington wineries, with tasting events and workshops Aug. 21 to 23.
Events will conclude with the Fine Finish sparkling wine brunch on Aug. 23. In addition to the scheduled wine events, there will be a variety of performers throughout the weekend.
Tickets are $315 (exclusive of service charges), including enrollment in two workshops and the Winemasters’ Dinner. Individual tickets for the Winemasters’ Dinner are $155. Guests also may purchase tickets for individual workshops and events at prices ranging from $25 to $45, www.Âticketweb.com.
Suncadia stretches along six miles of Cle Elum River frontage, 80 percent of it designated as open space. It features more than 50 miles of hiking and biking trails and is a certified Built Green Community. Suncadia Village includes two restaurants, two bars, a skating rink and an outdoor amphitheater.
